Becoming a Student
Equality and Diversity:
All sections of the community are actively encouraged to apply to Easton College. We believe in the principle of freedom from discrimination for everyone regardless of their age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, ethnic or national origins, social or religious background, or of being part of any other group which may have experienced discrimination. Students and staff alike are actively encouraged to respect others and to recognise their worth.
How to apply:
Once you have read through the college information and would like to apply for a course please fill in the application form at the back of this prospectus and send it to: The Student Information Centre, Easton College, Easton, Norwich, Norfolk NR9 5DX. You can apply for a course whenever you wish, it’s never too early. If you are undecided, feel free to apply for more than one, we are happy to arrange interviews for different subjects.
After sending in your application you will be contacted by a member of the Student Information Centre and invited to the College for an interview with the course tutor. This will be held at Easton and will normally last for around an hour. The interview is informal and you will be given the opportunity to discuss in detail the suitability of your chosen course. You will also receive a tour of the campus.
If we are able to offer you a place on a course we will confirm this and any conditions (such as successfully meeting the required pre-entry qualifications).
All college literature, including this prospectus, can be made available in either large print or on audio tape if required. Please contact the Student Information Centre for more details. Similarly, if you have any queries about any aspect of college life, staff within the Student Information Centre will be happy to help. Their direct telephone number is 01603 731232.
