Felling Medium Trees (CS32)

Duration: 3 Days

Aims: To provide training and preperation for the NPTC assessment in unit CS32, felling medium sized trees.

Course Content: The felling and processing of trees with an overall diameter at felling height of between 380mm (15 inches) and 760mm (30 inches), Use of winches to take down hung up trees, the use of winches, felling heavily leaning trees.

Felling trees courses are held of campus and you are required to provide your own transport.

Assessment: Competence assessment by NPTC assessor after the course. Can be carried out at the college or the work place and is booked directly with NPTC.
