NVQ Level 2 Forestry and Woodland

1 day per week for 1 year

Entry Requirements: 
No formal requirement but a genuine interest in the subject and employment within the industry are required.

The Course:
This apprenticeship assesses a range of required skills and abilities including planting, weeding, fencing, maintaining and repairing tools, brashing and pruning, hand draining and drain maintenance, and basic tree identification.

16 – 18 Year Old Students – if you are aged between 16 and 18 on 31st August 2007 and have been resident in the UK for the last three years you do not have to pay tuition or examination fees.

19+ Students without a Full Level 2 Qualification - if you are 19 or over, do not have a full level 2 qualification, have been resident in the UK for the last three years and complete the form confirming your qualification status you do not have to pay tuition or exam fees.

19+ with a Full Level 2 Qualification or Higher - if you are 19+ you will be required to pay the tuition and exam fees for the course, as listed below.

The current tuition/course fees are £469, with £110 examination fee. If you are required to pay, ALL course related tuition and examination fees for this course are payable at the time of enrolment by cash, cheque or credit/debit card.
