Course content:
Introduction to the 3 basic welding processes (oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, manual metal arc welding and MIG welding), working with mild steel in the downward position, operating techniques and relevant health and safety advice.

Entry/Equipment requirements:
No formal entry requirements. Candidates require protective clothing, safety goggles and footwear.

Assessment:
Certificate of Attendance.
