Duration: 1 day

Aims: To build skills in oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, manual metal arc welding and MIG welding.

Content: Introduction to the 3 basic welding processes mentioned above, working with mild steel in the downward position, operating techniques and relevant health and safety advice.

Assessment: No assessment. Candidates will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course, for their records.
