Student Accommodation
There are two different types of accommodation;-
- En-suite rooms = single occupancy study rooms with En-suite facilities; the fee for this room is £125 P/W.*
- Shared accommodation rooms = single occupancy study rooms with shared bathroom facilities; the fee for this accommodation is £104 P/W.*
Notes:
- A £150 deposit is needed prior to moving in, to secure against breakages / accidental damage
- Either accommodation includes three meals - seven days a week.
- Cleaners visit daily to refresh your room
- There is a separate residential car park
- 24 /7 on call first aid trained 'live in wardens' for all aspects of support
- Strict security within the halls of residence
- Common room with a full size snooker table, 3 TV’s (2 for games console use) and a seating area.
- Laundrette (small fee applies)
- Activities include ..Salsa / street dance sessions, table tennis, swimming, karaoke, movie nights, quiz nights and free mini bus trips.
- A counsellor
What will my room be like?
Either option of accommodation will contain a bed and mattress, desk, a chair, a wardrobe, sink, storage space, curtains, waste paper basket, mirror and pin board. All rooms are centrally heated.
- All accommodation halls are segregated into male and female sections
What can I / can’t I bring with me?
You will need to bring …
- Pillows / duvet / sheets / towels
- toiletries
- Alarm clock
What you may want to bring …
- Coat hangers
- Laundry bag & washing powder
- Change for the washing machines & tumble dryers
- Photos of friends and family
- Kettle
- Lamp
- Mini fridge
- TV / stereo / laptop / games console (you will need to purchase a TV licence).
- Rug
What you can NOT bring …
- Cooking stoves / any cooking appliances
- Candles / incense sticks
- Any type of furniture / additional bedroom furniture
