LandSkills East
LandSkills East has been set up to provide rural businesses with improved access to skills and training courses in the region. The training is funded under the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and managed by Defra with the aim of providing the skills that will be required by the region’s land-based sector in the twenty-first century.
The LandSkills East website provides the latest training information, a full list of training providers offering LandSkills funded training as well as a list of available courses.
The LandSkills East team is based at Easton College; the delivery team is the first point of call for delivery partners and for trainees. It is committed to ensuring all trainees have a quality experience in accessing LandSkills delivery, and to ensuring that clear information is communicated across all partners of the programme.
As well as managing the overall programme, Easton College is a leading provider of training through LandSkills East. A full list of courses currently being run by Easton through the programme can be found at LandSkills East Website
